Opus Energy's Shareholders

International Power Plc

In May 2006 International Power Plc, a FTSE 100 company, took a 30% shareholding in Opus Energy. At the same time the companies agreed a power supply deal, giving Opus Energy long-term access to a reliable source of competitively priced electricity. This agreement enables Opus Energy to continue its stable growth and commitment to lowering electricity prices for business customers.

Telecom plus Plc

Telecom plus PLC is listed on the London Stock Exchange and currently has a 20% shareholding in Opus Energy, following an investment in December 2002. Trading under the brand of "The Utility Warehouse", Telecom plus PLC is the UK's only fully integrated provider of a wide range of attractively priced utility services (gas, electricity, telephony, internet), with the convenience of a single monthly bill and single direct debit. Through this relationship, Opus Energy provides Telecom plus PLC with outsourced information technology systems and certain energy services.
